Refund Terms for Digital Services

This policy applies to all purchases made on W3Industry (w3industry.com), a MSME-registered digital services company based in West Bengal, India. All transactions are processed via Razorpay Software Pvt. Ltd. This policy is consistent with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.

W3Industry is a fully digital business. We do not sell or ship physical goods. All services and products are delivered digitally upon payment confirmation.

1. NFT Minting & Blockchain Certification Fees

The fee of INR 49 (or applicable amount) charged for NFT minting and blockchain certification via the W3AI Collective Studio is strictly non-refundable once the minting process has been initiated. This is because:

  • Blockchain transactions are irreversible by nature — once written to the network, they cannot be undone.
  • Gas fees and on-chain processing costs are incurred immediately upon initiation.
  • The digital asset and its proof-of-creation record are permanently associated with the provided wallet address.

If your payment was charged but minting failed due to a technical error on our platform, you are entitled to a full refund or a free re-mint. Please contact us within 48 hours with your order ID.

2. AI Generation Credits & Studio Usage

AI image generation is an on-demand computational service. Once an image has been generated and delivered, the associated fee is non-refundable. If no images were successfully generated due to a platform error, a full refund will be issued.

3. Custom Development Services

Custom software development, AI automation, and infrastructure projects are governed by individual service agreements. Cancellations and refunds for these engagements are subject to the milestone and payment terms agreed upon in the signed contract. Generally:

  • Work completed up to the cancellation date is billable and non-refundable.
  • Advance payments for uncompleted milestones may be refunded on a pro-rata basis at our discretion.
  • No refund applies once the final deliverable has been accepted by the client.
4. SaaS Subscriptions
  • You may cancel a subscription within 7 days of the initial charge for a full refund, provided no substantial use of the service has occurred.
  • After 7 days, no refunds are issued for the current billing period. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.
  • Setup fees, onboarding fees, or one-time fees are non-refundable.
5. Digital Products (Downloads & Assets)
  • Digital products (templates, asset packs, reports) are non-refundable once downloaded or accessed.
  • If a product is demonstrably defective or materially different from its description, raise a dispute within 7 days of purchase.
6. How to Request a Refund
  1. Email info@w3industry.com with subject line: "Refund Request – [Order ID]"
  2. Include your registered email address, order/payment ID, and a brief description of the issue.
  3. Our team will acknowledge within 2 business days and resolve within 7 business days.
7. Refund Processing Timelines

Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method via Razorpay:

  • UPI: 1–3 business days
  • Debit / Credit Cards: 5–7 business days
  • Net Banking: 3–5 business days
  • Wallets (Paytm, PhonePe, etc.): 1–2 business days

Actual credit to your account depends on your bank or payment provider and may take additional time beyond the above estimates.

8. Non-Refundable Circumstances
  • Any service where blockchain records have been successfully written.
  • Any AI-generated content successfully delivered.
  • Requests made beyond the applicable refund window.
  • Services consumed or access used during the subscription period.
  • Amounts that constitute government taxes (GST) — these are not refundable by us.
9. Disputes & Escalation

If you are dissatisfied with our refund decision, you may escalate to our senior team at info@w3industry.com with subject line "Escalation – [Order ID]". We will review and respond within 5 business days. Unresolved disputes may be raised with the relevant consumer forum under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

10. Policy Changes

We reserve the right to amend this policy at any time. Changes are effective upon posting to this page. Purchases made prior to a policy change are governed by the policy in effect at the time of purchase.
